Nobel Prize-Winning Physicist Resigns Over Global Warming

From FauxNews:

The global warming theory left him out in the cold.

Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that “global warming is occurring.”

The official position of the American Physical Society (APS) supports the theory that man’s actions have inexorably led to the warming of the planet, through increased emissions of carbon dioxide.

Giaever does not agree — and put it bluntly and succinctly in the subject line of his email, reprinted at Climate Depot, a website devoted to debunking the theory of man-made climate change.

“I resign from APS,” Giaever wrote.

Just another teabagging scientist who doesn’t believe in the absolute consensus on manmade global warming. No, there shall be no dissent, doctor!

  1. I assume that the good doctor was not invited to Al Gore’s 24-hour global warming Bore-a-Thon. Ah, well. Time to report him to Obama’s #Attack Watch site. They’ll know how to deal with the likes of him. What’s the temperature in Siberia these days?

  2. I met this guy visiting my school in ’01 or ’02. Really down to earth. I’m sure he was there just the same as West is in the CBC. To add a bit of reality to a group in a bubble of their own creation. As a scientist, I say the whole thing is bunk, but they wouldn’t ask me would they? No, you have to what Major in something like Global Warming Engineering? this title although redundant is very accurate to who believe this tripe.
