Slavery Nearly Abolished by The Declaration of Independence
I’ve read a fair amount on Jefferson’s views on slavery, but I did not know that an anti-slavery grievance that the principle author of the Declaration of Independence originally inserted into the document was more widely popular than is common perception. Once again, our country’s real history is being purposefully withheld and distorted to further the statist agenda.
